About Tatiana
I’m a Grade 9 Math Tutor. I wasn’t always “good at math” — I struggled with algebra and functions in high school too. That’s probably why I get how frustrating it feels when concepts don’t click. I’m patient, I explain things multiple ways, and I care more about understanding than memorizing.

1. Gaps first, syllabus second
I don’t jump straight to Grade 9 work. We find the 1-2 Grade 8 concepts holding you back — integers, brackets, basic equations. Fix the foundation and the new stuff stops feeling impossible.
2. Safe space, zero judgment
Ask the same question 10 times. Get it wrong. Start again. I’ve been stuck on the same sum too. No “you should know this” — only “let’s figure it out together”.
