About Mia
HI! I am currently a student at Royal Holloway University of London. Prior to this I have been through the International Baccalaureate system. Although I have never taught academia professionally before, I have taught children of all ages swimming for over 5 years and absolutely love passing on my knowledge. My friends describe me as patient and positive and my favourite things in the world are dogs and bad jokes.

I like to teach using a discussion based scheme. Though I am a huge fan of the IB way of teaching, my personal aim is for you to learn without it feeling like work. English and writing are just part of your communication skills and does not have to feel heavy. Having fun with your work will coerce you to succeed, and make you feel smarter and more confident than you ever thought you could!
P.S I am not totally against assignments and tests; of course they will not be designed to bring your spirits down! :-)
