About Maryam
I specialise in online maths tutoring for primary school children, helping them improve their understanding, confidence, and enjoyment of maths. I believe every child can succeed in maths when lessons are taught at the right pace with clear and patient explanations. My teaching style is calm, supportive, and encouraging. I deliver lessons step by step, using simple language and examples so children never feel rushed or overwhelmed. I create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. Lessons are fully personalised to suit each child’s needs, ability, and learning style. I support homework, revision, and topic reinforcement, and I take time to identify areas that need extra attention. My goal is to help students build strong foundations in maths while developing confidence and independence. I aim to make maths less stressful and more enjoyable, helping children feel proud of their progress and motivated to keep improving.
