About Hailey
I am a patient, dedicated, and approachable Mathematics tutor with experience teaching students of all abilities, from those who need extra support to those aiming to excel in exams. Over the past 2 years, I have guided learners at every level, helping them strengthen their understanding, develop problem-solving skills, and gain confidence in Mathematics. I am adaptable, tailoring my teaching style to suit each student’s learning pace and needs, ensuring that every lesson is engaging, clear, and effective. I am also organized and reliable, preparing lessons in advance and tracking progress to make sure students steadily improve. I take a patient and structured approach to tutoring, adjusting my teaching style to suit each student’s learning pace and level. For primary students, I focus on building strong basics and confidence, while for secondary and pre-university students, I place greater emphasis on exam techniques and problem-solving skills.
My lessons are practice-focused, using clear explanations, step-by-step examples, and targeted exercises. I regularly use Checkpoint and IGCSE past-year questions to familiarise students with exam formats and marking schemes.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though this can be adjusted based on the student’s needs and age.
I have 2 years of tutoring experience and achieved A* (96%) in IGCSE Extended Mathematics, giving me strong familiarity with the IGCSE syllabus and examination system.
My lessons are suitable for primary, secondary, and Pre-U students, including those who need extra support, exam preparation, or confidence-building in Mathematics.
