About Freya
My interest in guitar began when I first discovered how powerful simple melodies and chord progressions can be. This fascination led me to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Guitar Performance, where I studied instrumental technique, music theory, and performance skills. Over the past 7 years, I have helped students develop their guitar abilities and confidence.
I believe music learning should feel encouraging and rewarding. My teaching style focuses on clear explanation, patient support, and steady progress. Every student has a different learning pace, so I adapt lessons according to their goals and interests. Some students enjoy learning popular songs, while others want to focus on improving technical skills.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing guitar and exploring different musical styles. These experiences allow me to bring fresh inspiration into lessons. Teaching guitar is fulfilling because I see students gradually become confident musicians who enjoy expressing themselves through music.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students develop a strong foundation while enjoying the process of learning music. Beginners start by learning how to hold the guitar comfortably and how to position their fingers correctly on the fretboard. We begin with simple chords and easy rhythm patterns so students can quickly start playing small parts of songs. These early exercises help learners build finger strength and improve coordination between both hands.
As students progress, lessons introduce more complex chord progressions, rhythm variations, and basic fingerstyle techniques. Students learn how chords connect to form songs and how rhythm creates the overall structure of music. Practice routines are introduced to help learners improve consistently between lessons. I guide students through each step carefully so they feel confident with every new technique.
My goal is to help students enjoy playing guitar while developing lasting musical skills. Lessons encourage creativity and curiosity so learners can explore different musical styles. Over time students gain the ability to play songs smoothly and confidently. Guitar becomes not only a musical instrument but also a way for students to express themselves and enjoy music more deeply.
