About Pamela
I have been tutoring maths one-to-one for almost 20 years and I still love my job!
Maths is an amazing subject but can be challenging and I take great pleasure in helping my students progress - often to levels that they believed were unattainable.
Good maths grades open doors for both higher education and employment - I understand what is at stake and do my utmost to help my students.

I teach according to the needs of individual students and for over 20 years have successfully helped students of varied levels of ability, age 5-18 (and adults), achieve their goals (KS1-5); too often, concepts are believed to be difficult but can be learnt easily if taught at the right pace; understanding is then built and future progress facilitated. I find that struggling students quickly become more confident, often exceeding expectations, whilst more able students need to be challenged so that problem solving skills and mental agility are developed in preparation for future, higher level, studies. I have a first class honours degree in mathematical sciences from the Open university. Lesson are online only and usually 1-1.5 hours in length.
