About Leon
My name is Leon Leeroy, and I am a certified English teacher with a master's degree in English and Literature. Teaching is not simply what I do; it is what I am genuinely passionate about. Over the years, I have had the privilege of helping students of all ages and backgrounds discover their confidence in English, and that moment when a struggling learner finally gets it is what drives me every single day.
My academic background and professional certification give me a solid foundation, but what truly defines my teaching is my commitment to every individual student. My approach as a tutor
My name is Leon Leeroy, and I am a certified English teacher with a master's degree in English and Literature. I bring structure, warmth, and genuine enthusiasm to every lesson; my goal is simple: to make you feel confident in English, regardless of where you are starting from.
My teaching method and techniques
I believe learning English should never feel like a chore. My lessons combine modern, research-backed techniques with fun, interactive activities that keep students engaged from the very first minute. I use a mix of conversation practice, grammar exercises, storytelling, role play, and real-life materials such as articles, videos, and podcasts. Every technique I use is chosen with one purpose: to make the language stick in a way that feels natural and enjoyable.
A typical lesson
Each session begins with a short warm-up to ease you into the language, followed by a focused activity targeting your specific area of improvement, whether that is grammar, vocabulary, writing, speaking, or reading comprehension. We close each lesson with a quick review and a small, manageable task to reinforce what was covered. Sessions are paced entirely around you; no rushing, no pressure.
