About Lauren
I am a certified teacher with a degree in education and a concentration in reading for Pre-K-12. Over the past five years, I have taught both first grade and fourth grade, giving me a strong understanding of the skills students need to grow from early literacy foundations into higher-level reading and comprehension. Teaching has given me the privilege of working with students of different ages, abilities, and learning styles. I value building relationships with my students and their families, and I take pride in creating a supportive environment where learners feel safe to take risks and grow in confidence. What sets me apart is my ability to adapt instruction to meet the unique needs of each student. Whether your child needs focused support in reading, extra practice with foundational skills, or confidence-building in reading and math, I bring patience, creativity, and proven strategies to my sessions. My goal is not only to help your student improve academically, but also to foster a genuine love of learning.
