About Ty
I am a dedicated and patient arithmetic tutor who enjoys helping students understand math in a simple and encouraging way. I focus on building strong foundations in basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. My goal is to help students feel more confident in their math skills and improve their understanding step by step.
I take time to explain problems clearly and make sure students truly understand the process instead of just memorizing answers. I believe learning works best in a calm and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
I am reliable, friendly, and committed to helping students succeed. I always try to be encouraging and positive so students can feel proud of their progress and become more confident in their abilities. My priority is making sure every student feels supported while learning and improving their math skills.

I tutor arithmetic in a patient, simple, and easy-to-understand way. My goal is to help students feel comfortable with math and build confidence while learning. I break problems down step by step so students can clearly understand how to solve them instead of just memorizing answers.
During a typical lesson, we start by reviewing what the student is learning in school or what they are struggling with. Then we practice together using examples and simple explanations. I help guide them through the steps and give them time to try problems on their own while I support them. I also use practice questions and real-life examples to make arithmetic easier to understand.
What sets me apart is that I am very patient and understanding. I know that math can feel stressful or confusing, so I try to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students can ask questions without feeling embarrassed.
My lessons are best for elementary and middle school students who need help with basic arithmetic like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, homework help, or building stronger math foundations.
