About Thivya
With over 10 years of dedicated tutoring experience, I am committed to providing structured, reliable, and high-quality lessons for every student. I take pride in being patient, well-prepared, and attentive to each child’s individual learning needs.
I understand that parents are looking not just for a tutor, but for someone trustworthy and consistent. My lessons are carefully planned, progress is regularly monitored, and feedback is provided so parents stay informed of their child’s improvement.
Students and parents appreciate my:
• Clear and structured teaching style
• Patient and encouraging approach
• Strong focus on building fundamentals
• Professional and punctual conduct
• Proven track record of helping students improve
I maintain a supportive yet disciplined learning environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions while staying focused on achieving results.
My goal is simple: to help every student gain confidence, master key concepts, and perform to the best of their ability.

My teaching is highly personalised. I begin by assessing each student’s strengths and weak areas, then customise lesson plans to target gaps effectively. I use:
• Step-by-step concept breakdowns for clarity
• Visual models and real-life examples for better understanding
• Guided practice followed by independent work
• Regular review and reinforcement to ensure retention
• Exam-focused strategies for upper primary students
I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.
