About Soumita
Hello Students!
My name is Soumita Chowdhury, and I am a 20-year-old B.Tech student pursuing Computer Science Engineering (CSE). I studied at Delhi Public School (DPS) for 10 years, where I developed a strong foundation in academics and discovered my passion for learning and teaching.
I believe that every child learns differently. Instead of focusing on memorization, I help students truly understand concepts so that learning becomes easier, more enjoyable, and long-lasting.
One thing that makes my teaching style unique is that I take the time to understand each student's needs, strengths, and challenges. My goal is not just to help you score well in exams but also to help you become curious, confident, and independent learners.
In my classes, you can expect:
Easy-to-understand explanations
Visual notes, sketches, and diagrams
Fun examples from everyday life
Interactive discussions and questions
A supportive and encouraging learning environment
I look forward to learning, exploring, and growing together with all of you. Let's make studying fun and meaningful!
See you in class!

Teaching Techniques and Methods
Learning: I use real life examples, interactive learning and hands-on activities to make lessons memorable and fun.
Visual and Interactive Teaching: Young students often learn best through pictures, sketches, charts, and demonstrations, so I incorporate these regularly.
Question-and-Answer Sessions: I encourage curiosity by allowing students to ask questions and participate actively in discussions.
Positive Reinforcement: I motivate students through praise, encouragement, and constructive feedback to build confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
Individualized Support: Every child learns at a different pace, so I adapt my explanations and exercises to meet individual needs.
Usual Structure of a Class
Warm-Up Activity: get to know them personally and how they are doing so they feel familiar and understood.
Introduction of New Concepts : discuss the topics
Guided Practice: Interactive exercises where students apply what they have learned with teacher support.
Independent Activity: Students complete age-appropriate tasks to reinforce understanding.
Review and Feedback: Recap key points, answer questions, and celebrate progress.
My Special Features as a Teacher
Ability to explain complex ideas in a simple and child-friendly way.
Patient, supportive, and approachable teaching style.
Focus on building both academic skills and self-confidence.
Creative use of stories, real-life examples, and educational games.
Strong emphasis on developing critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills from an early age.
Intended Audience
My classes are designed primarily for primary school students. The lessons are tailored to suit young learners' attention spans, learning styles, and developmental needs, ensuring that they build a strong foundation while enjoying the learning process.
My goal is not only to help students achieve academic success but also to inspire a lifelong love of learning and curiosity about the world around them.
