About Lena
Hello! I am a native Korean speaker currently living in New York.
I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and helping others learn about the Korean language and culture. I am patient, friendly, and supportive, and I believe that learning should be both enjoyable and comfortable.
Although I come from a different professional background, I have strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others learn. I understand that every student learns differently, so I always try to create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
As a native speaker, I can help students learn natural Korean expressions, pronunciation, everyday conversations, and cultural insights that are difficult to learn from textbooks alone.
Whether you are learning Korean for travel, work, personal interest, or to enjoy Korean dramas and music more deeply, I would be happy to support your learning journey.

Hello! I am a native Korean speaker living in New York.
My lessons are friendly, patient, and personalized to each student's goals and learning style. Whether you are a complete beginner, preparing for a trip to Korea, interested in Korean culture, or simply want to improve your speaking skills, I will help you learn at a comfortable pace.
I focus on practical Korean that you can use in real-life situations. During lessons, we can practice conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, and everyday expressions. I encourage students to speak as much as possible so they can build confidence naturally.
A typical lesson includes reviewing previous material, learning new vocabulary or grammar, practicing through conversation, and answering any questions. I also provide examples from daily Korean life and culture to make learning more interesting and enjoyable.
