About Chevi
I am a qualified educator with a Master of Education from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). I have a strong foundation in child development and teaching methodologies, particularly for younger learners.
I am patient, structured, and supportive in my approach, and I enjoy helping children build confidence and develop positive learning habits from an early age. I believe that every child learns differently, and I adapt my teaching to suit each student’s pace and needs. My goal is to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students feel motivated to learn and improve consistently.

My lessons focus on supporting lower primary students (Primary 1 to Primary 3) in building strong foundations in English and Mathematics, as well as Tamil language support up to Primary 6. I provide structured homework guidance while ensuring students understand key concepts clearly, rather than simply completing tasks.
For English, I support reading, phonics, vocabulary, and basic writing skills. For Mathematics, I focus on number concepts, problem-solving, and step-by-step understanding. For Tamil, I provide guidance in reading, writing, and language development according to the student’s level.
Lessons are conducted online via Zoom or Google Meet in an engaging and supportive environment. Each session includes a review of schoolwork, guided practice, and reinforcement of weaker areas. I adapt my teaching approach to suit each child’s pace, with an emphasis on building confidence, independence, and consistent learning habits. Brief progress updates will be shared with parents regularly.
