About Peter
Hi, I'm Peter (he/him pronouns)! I am 24 years old and have loved English throughout my entire education. I've always adored reading and writing, and to this day writing is one of my biggest pastimes - I plan on eventually publishing novels, as well as poetry collections. Outside of English and academics, I love movies, TV shows, music, cats, theme parks, concerts, singing, and art. As a person I am very excitable, bubbly, optimistic, determined, and passionate, and this can be seen in most everything I do - from playing and cuddling with my two cats, Cereal and Chaichai, to screaming song lyrics with friends at concerts. I put my entire heart into everything I do. If you work with me, you will very likely get to say hello to my cats from time to time - and hear plenty of silly jokes, pop culture references, and empathetic words of encouragement. :)

Hi! I’m an English tutor, and I’m passionate about helping others express themselves clearly and efficiently, guiding them on how to embrace their strengths, learn from their struggles, and apply the lessons they've learned so that they may excel in any areas of English they desire. I specialize in creative writing, poetry, text analysis, essay writing, literary tools, spelling, grammar, and more, and I tailor every lesson to fit your own needs and desires. I believe learning should be engaging and empowering, so I always make sure to interact with students in ways that allow them to be an active participant in their learning while also allowing me to get to know them as a person, which further helps me in evaluating their strengths and proceeding accordingly. Students appreciate my energy, compassion, patience, and humor. I make learning fun and refreshing, and I always end on a high note. I work with most any education levels, fully prepared to engage with students in K-12 as well as undergrads. I will adjust my approach based on age and education levels as well as individual focuses, and I will channel my passion into helping each student succeed.
