About Mathieu
Hi! My name is Mathieu, and I teach math in both French and English. I am a first-year math student at the University of Ottawa, studying to become a teacher. I am also a full-time substitute teacher in elementary schools, which has given me hands-on experience working with students of different ages and learning styles. I know that math can feel overwhelming at times because I was once a student who needed extra help. That experience has made me very patient and adaptable, allowing me to explain concepts in different ways until they make sense. My goal is to make math clear, step-by-step, and approachable so that students can build confidence and improve their skills. I specialize in Calculus, Algebra, and math topics up to Grade 12, offering online lessons tailored to each student’s needs.
