About Koa
I’m a dedicated guitar tutor with 12 years of teaching and performing experience. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Guitar Studies, which gave me a deep understanding of technique, theory, and musical expression. Over the years, I’ve worked with students ranging from complete beginners to advanced musicians, helping each one find their unique voice through the guitar. Music, to me, is more than a skill—it’s a lifelong creative journey. I believe learning guitar should be inspiring, challenging, and enjoyable. My lessons are built to nurture not only technical ability but also confidence, creativity, and musical curiosity. I regularly compose and perform, staying connected to the pulse of live music and artistic growth. This real-world experience helps me bring fresh energy and practical insights into each lesson. I emphasize strong foundations in rhythm, ear training, and improvisation, while adapting to every student’s goals and pace. Whether you're picking up a guitar for the first time or refining your advanced skills, I’m here to guide you. My aim is to create a supportive space where learning feels exciting and rewarding.
