About Charlotte
I am a former trumpet pupil of the Guildhall School of Music having achieved a Distinction in my ABRSM Diploma, and previously a Distinction at Grade 8. I have also been a member of The National Youth Orchestra and National Youth Brass Band therefore am happy to teach both the trumpet and cornet, and have previously had three trumpet pupils all achieving distinctions in their exams.

I teach pupils from beginners to Grade 8. For all pupils I focus on the requirements of the exam board in order to maximise their exam performance, however with beginners I also guide them on how to begin building technique in the most effective way possible. For more advanced players I also support their broader quality of performance through working on aspects of playing such as tone quality, range and general technique which often exceeds the requirements of exams.
