About Rosa
I am a multidisciplinary educator driven by a lifelong commitment to youth empowerment and inclusive education. With over five years of experience as a Junior School librarian and a teacher of History and English, I specialize in transforming lessons through creative curriculum design, storytelling, and the development of critical thinking skills.
My approach is built on a firm commitment to bridging the gap between academic excellence and independent thinking.
My mission is to help students feel empowered, and I hope to help them on that journey.

I create relevant and interesting lessons, taking a student's interests and abilities into consideration. I am passionate about developing critical thinking skills and guide students in thinking for themselves. My lessons are creative, and I try to make my own resources and find exciting content to foster new ideas and to keep my students engaged.
I am able to teach in English, and have worked with students from as young as 6, to as old as eighteen. I have a Masters in History of Art, and majored in English literature - so I am able to assist with textual analysis and essay writing skills. I also help younger children find their voices and am able to help them revise core concepts covered in English and in the Social Sciences classrooms as I worked as a Grade 7 English and History teacher for five years.
My core value is that by building a foundational love of reading, we can create future thinkers, and so literature and texts are fundamental inclusions in my lessons.
