About Nina
With 11 years of experience teaching piano, I have taught students ranging from young beginners to college learners and working professionals. My teaching philosophy emphasises patience, creativity, and personalised guidance to ensure that each student feels supported and motivated to reach their potential.
I have guided students in performances, graded exams, and competitions, helping them achieve milestones and develop confidence in their abilities.
Lessons include technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills, all tailored to the student’s level and goals. I aim to make piano learning a fulfilling journey that nurtures both skill and a lifelong appreciation for music.

In piano lessons, I focus on technical development, musicality, rhythm, and creative expression, blending structured exercises with pieces that engage and inspire.
I maintain open communication, answering questions, explaining concepts clearly, and encouraging students to share their goals. Supportiveness is central to my approach—I help students navigate challenges, celebrate progress, and develop self-confidence.
I also apply this methodology to other subjects I teach, including music theory, composition, and ear training. My goal is to provide a nurturing, inspiring environment where students grow in skill, confidence, and a lifelong love for learning.
