About Majid
Hello! I’m Majid, an experienced STEM tutor with over 20 years of teaching and tutoring students in Math, Physics, and Engineering. I hold a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Earthquake Engineering) and a diploma in GIS, giving me a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied STEM subjects.
I started tutoring because I love helping students overcome challenges in STEM and gain confidence in their abilities. I believe that every student can understand complex concepts when lessons are clear, structured, and engaging. My approach focuses on step-by-step explanations, practical examples, and adapting lessons to each student’s learning style and pace.
I teach high school and university-level students, covering subjects such as Algebra, Calculus, Mechanics, Structural Analysis, and more. My goal is to make learning enjoyable, help students achieve their academic goals, and build long-term understanding.

My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I begin by assessing the student’s current understanding of the topic and identifying areas that require improvement. From there, I break down complex concepts into clear, step-by-step explanations, using practical examples and visual aids whenever necessary.
A typical lesson includes:
1. Review: Going over previous material or homework to ensure understanding.
2. Concept Explanation: Clear, structured teaching of new material.
3. Practice: Guided exercises to apply the concepts learned.
4. Feedback and Discussion: Answering questions, clarifying doubts, and reinforcing understanding.
I focus on building not only knowledge but also confidence. My goal is to help students become independent learners who can approach problems logically and effectively. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s pace, ensuring lessons are engaging, efficient, and enjoyable.
