About Jihyun
Hello! My name is Jihyun, and I’m a Korean tutor from Seoul, Korea. As a lifelong language learner myself, I understand firsthand how important it is to learn the local language—especially when you’re trying to build a new life in a different country. I’ve lived and traveled in many parts of the world, and I know the unique challenges that come with learning a new language as an adult. I’ve been teaching Korean to English and European language speakers for over 10 years. With that experience, my goal is to help you make real and lasting progress in your learning journey. While there are many great tutors out there, I believe it’s crucial to find someone who truly matches your personality and learning style. If you’re the kind of learner who always wants to dig into the “why” behind the grammar or expression in order to really understand and move forward, then we’re likely a great match. I’m passionate, patient, and very detail-oriented. I’ll support you every step of the way with personalized guidance, cultural context, and regular feedback to help you stay motivated and on track. Let’s make your Korean learning journey not just effective—but meaningful and enjoyable, too.
