About Zeinab
As a fully qualified science teacher, I have the knowledge and skills required to make an excellent tutor. In addition to this, I have a Biomedical Science degree and have worked in a laboratory as a researcher, giving me a unique insight into the practical side of science.
As a teacher, I have obtained vitals experience teaching a range of students across both KS3 and KS4 levels, as well as setting up and running Science Clubs and Breakfast Clubs and managing my own tutor group. I have a passion for ensuring every single pupil I support achieves the best possible grade while enjoying their learning experience.

When teaching KS3 and KS4 pupils, I have a clear and structured approach which focuses on building a strong knowledge base and then introducing new concepts while reinforcing existing ones.
My lesson structure begins with a review of the previous lesson as a starter activity, ensuring past topics have been grasped. New ideas are introduced with a brief overview, before going in to detail on key concepts and using methods such as audio and visual learning (annotated pictures, videos, graphs) to maintain interest. This is followed by a variety of assessment tasks to both assess understanding and reinforce the learnings such as questioning, quizzes, class presentations and exam style questions.
As a tutor, my key characteristics are patience, enthusiasm and empathy. Teaching is a passion of mine which means I take a personal interest in the success and achievement of all my tutees.
