Hi, I’m Alex – a dedicated English tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students succeed.
I completed Year 12 at a selective North Shore boys’ school, where I consistently achieved top results in English. Through this, I developed a deep understanding of essay writing, textual analysis, and exam technique – skills I now enjoy passing on to my students.
I understand firsthand the pressure and expectations of high-performing schools and senior exams like the HSC. My goal is to simplify English, make it feel more manageable, and help students confidently express their ideas in a clear and structured way.
I work with students across Years 7–12, whether they are:
Trying to improve their marks
Preparing for assessments or exams
Struggling with essay writing or analysis
Aiming for top band results
I focus on practical strategies that actually improve marks—not just theory.
