As a tutor, I believe in creating a supportive, encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes — because that’s how real learning happens. My teaching method blends structured guidance with creative expression. I break down reading and writing into manageable steps, using visual aids, storytelling techniques, and real-life examples to make abstract concepts feel concrete. For younger students, I might use phonics games, reading aloud, and spelling activities. For older students, lessons often include writing prompts, essay outlines, grammar reviews, and feedback discussions.
A typical lesson begins with a quick warm-up (such as a short reading or word activity), followed by the main topic (like writing an introduction or identifying tone in a passage). We close with a review, feedback, and a preview of the next session. I always leave time for students to ask questions or reflect on what they learned.
