About Natasha
Hey, I’m Natasha, a passionate and intuitive English tutor with a background in Biomedical Science and 5 years of experience as an academic mentor. My journey into teaching started through mentoring students with ADHD and dyslexia, where I saw first-hand how a personalised, student-centred approach can transform learning from stressful to empowering. I teach because I believe that education should feel accessible, engaging, and confidence-boosting, no matter your learning style. Whether you’re preparing for GCSE exams, need help structuring academic essays, or just want to develop stronger writing and critical thinking skills, I’m here to guide and support you. What I love most about tutoring is helping students find their unique way of learning, whether that’s through structured lessons, creative approaches, or interactive discussions. My goal is to make learning feel less overwhelming and more intuitive, giving you the tools to succeed independently. If you’re looking for a tutor who will meet you where you are and help you build real confidence in your abilities, I’d love to work with you!

My Teaching Approach Learning should feel accessible, engaging, and tailored to you—which is exactly what my lessons provide. I take a personalised and adaptable approach to tutoring, offering support for students who thrive with structured traditional methods, those who prefer creative and intuitive learning styles, and those needing academic writing support for GCSE and university-level work. For students who prefer a traditional, structured approach: • Clear lesson objectives & step-by-step explanations to break down complex topics. • Exam-style questions & mark scheme practice to build confidence in answering effectively. • Essay planning & structured writing techniques to improve clarity and coherence. • Progress tracking & revision strategies to ensure steady improvement. For students who learn best through creative & interactive methods: • Mind-mapping & visual learning (colour-coded notes, diagrams, storytelling). • Active discussions & real-world applications to make concepts relevant. • Memory hacks & study techniques (mnemonics, movement-based learning, association tricks). • Flexible session formats that adapt to each student’s preferred way of processing information. For academic writing support (GCSE & university level): • Essay structuring & argument development—helping you build strong, coherent essays. • Critical analysis & academic research skills—guidance on engaging with sources effectively. • Proofreading & feedback—detailed, constructive support on how to refine your work. • Time management & study strategies—helping students plan and organise their workload efficiently. With 5 years’ experience as an academic mentor, I understand that everyone learns differently. My approach is intuitive, student-centred, and confidence-building, ensuring that each student gets the support they need in a way that works best for them.
