My Approach as a Tutor
As a tutor, I use a student-centered and interactive approach that makes learning simple, engaging, and practical. I adjust my teaching methods based on each learner’s level, learning pace, and specific needs. I use discussions, real-life examples, guided activities, questioning techniques, and practice exercises to help students understand concepts rather than simply memorize them.
Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson begins with a short review or warm-up activity, followed by an introduction to the new topic. I explain the lesson using clear examples and encourage students to ask questions and participate in discussions. We then apply the concepts through exercises or activities. The lesson ends with a short assessment and feedback to check understanding and identify areas for improvement.
What Sets Me Apart
What sets me apart is my patience, adaptability, and genuine commitment to my learners. As a Licensed Professional Teacher, I understand that every student learns differently. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and developing confidence in their abilities.
Who My Lessons Are For
My lessons are suitable for elementary, junior high school, and senior high school learners, particularly students studying Social Studies, Humanities, Philippine Politics, Economics, and related subjects. I can also support learners who need help with reading comprehension, academic writing, research, and developing effective study habits.
