About Emily
I am an enthusiastic drum tutor with 9 years of teaching experience, offering lessons to students of all skill levels. I have successfully taught around 150 students, helping them develop strong rhythm, coordination, and confidence behind the drums. My teaching is focused on clear instruction, steady progress, and musical enjoyment. My tutoring approach combines structure with flexibility. I begin by understanding each student’s current level and goals, then create lessons that match their learning pace. I focus on essential drumming skills such as timing, groove, coordination, and technique, while gradually introducing advanced concepts and creative playing.
One of my unique skills is making lessons simple and practical. I use clear explanations, step-by-step exercises, and real music examples to help students apply what they learn. I also guide students on proper practice habits and mindset, helping them stay motivated and disciplined. I believe that learning drums should be inspiring and rewarding.
