About Boaz
I'm a 10th grader in Westchester, New York who loves math and science. I love puzzles of all kinds, especially Rubik's Cubes, a hobby I became deeply interested in about 6 years ago. I love to teach, teaching anything from math to basketball. This is especially true, though, with Rubik's Cubes, having taught people of all ages to solve the 3x3x3 cube...and many other twisty puzzles!

An avid, 15-year-old Rubik's Cube solver who learned how to solve the cube 6 years ago, I know how to solve a wide variety of twisty puzzles. I have taught many people of all ages how to solve the 3-by-3 Rubik's Cube...and many more cubes, too (including the Pyraminx, the 2-by-2, the 4-by-4, the Dino cube, etc.). Since I often figure out how to solve twisty puzzles by myself, I know how to teach my students how to create their own algorithms and how to come up with intuitive methods to solve their puzzles. Given my experience with teaching, I will cater each lesson to the level of each individual (no prior experience with cubing required).

If Boaz can teach an old guy like me to solve the Rubik’s Cube in a matter of a few sessions, then he must be a teaching superstar! Boaz’s simple, yet intuitive method was not only effective, but fun. He communicated clearly and demonstrated a lot of patience during my Rubik’s Cube solving journey.
Boaz is a very thorough tutor. He explained all the different possible permutations of the cube and how to solve for each one. He is also very patient. I love his teaching style!
