About Rose
As a Computer Science graduate with a strong passion for teaching, I’m dedicated to helping students not only improve their grades but also develop a deep understanding of the subjects I teach. My approach to tutoring is personalised and student-focused, ensuring each lesson caters to the unique learning style and pace of the student. I aim to build confidence by breaking down complex concepts into simple, relatable ideas, using real-world examples and interactive problem-solving. For subjects like Computer Science and Maths, I emphasise logical thinking and step-by-step approaches, helping students not just understand what to do, but why they are doing it.
Techniques & Methodology:
Interactive Learning: I encourage active participation, asking questions throughout the lesson to ensure understanding.
Problem-Solving Focus: Especially for Maths and Further Maths, we work through problems together, identifying areas of difficulty and practising until the student feels comfortable.
Practical Application: For Computer Science, I blend theory with hands-on coding exercises and real-world examples to reinforce key concepts.
Exam Preparation: For students preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels, or entrance exams like MAT, we focus on exam techniques, past papers, and time management.
Lesson Length:
Typically, lessons last 1 hour, but I’m flexible to adjust depending on the student’s needs and focus level.

I am a Computer Science graduate with a strong background in Maths, Further Maths, and Computer Science. I have experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level students, helping them achieve high grades and feel more confident in their studies.
