About Teacher Ilona
Hello! I’m Ilona Smith, a BCom Honors graduate and experienced Business tutor with a passion for helping students succeed. I have over 3 years of experience teaching high school students and have also tutored university students in advanced accounting and business subjects, giving me insight into both foundational and higher-level concepts. In addition to teaching, I have professional experience in sales, marketing, and student support at colleges, which allows me to bring real-world examples into my lessons and understand how to support learners effectively. I offer personalized, one-on-one lessons that are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s learning style. Lessons focus on building understanding, confidence, and practical skills, so students are fully prepared for exams, assessments, and real-world applications.
