About Kenneth
Ever since third grade, I have always tried to help my peers in math. This love for the language of math and interpreting it has blossomed into many opportunities as I have informally tutored many of my peers through high school. This led to me teaching my own small class of Spanish speakers in an Algebra 1 class, leading them from the pure basics of addition all the way to complex algebra concepts in just a single school year. I believe that math is fun, and with hard work and dedication everyone can turn it from a pain in the butt to something they appreciate and look forward to learn. Math should not be a burden, but an old friend that sometimes frustrates you. Now, as someone who has completed their IB Diploma, I am ready and excited to teach the next generation of students on their math journey!

Hi, I’m Kenneth! As an Art of Problem Solving (AoPS) alum, I view math as an engaging puzzle rather than a wall of rigid rules. I know how easy it is for students to get bogged down in dry formulas and harsh logic, which is why my tutoring is active, conversational, and tailored to how you think.
I’ve worked with students across the board—including guiding learners all the way from basic addition to full Algebra 1 mastery. In my lessons, we don't do static lectures; we tackle problems together, try different angles, and make sure the concepts actually click.
My lessons will be tailored to the student (middle through high school math) and could include going over homework problems, preparing for tests (AP/SAT), or extending their knowledge!
