About David
I hold a PhD in organic chemistry, and am currently a professor of organic and general chemistry in Southern California. I am from the Southeast of the USA and completed my graduate studies at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign in 2021. I spent time in Europe as a postdoctoral scholar before working at Stanford as a medicinal chemist. There, I worked with an MD/PhD to discover new treatments for diseases. I not only have expertise in teaching chemistry and organic chemistry, but also serve as a mentor for my students as they navigate career paths.
