About Taya
I am a maths tutor with 3+ years experience teaching a wide range of students. I believe maths becomes easier when ideas are clearly organised. I start by understanding how each student approaches a question. Then I guide them to a more effective method. We work through examples together. I encourage students to explain their reasoning aloud. This builds confidence quickly. I focus on understanding instead of memorising formulae. Algebra is taught step by step. Geometry is explained visually using diagrams. I show how topics connect to each other. Practice is gradual and structured. Mistakes are part of learning. I help students learn how to check answers independently. Exam questions are introduced early. We practise timing strategies. I teach how to interpret wording carefully. Students begin solving unfamiliar questions. Confidence improves steadily. My goal is independence. Maths becomes logical and manageable.

My teaching approach to Maths focuses on clarity, structure, and real use. I believe maths should feel logical, not intimidating. I include topics like logical reasoning, discrete mathematics, and computational thinking. Proofs are explained as stories with clear steps. I help students organise their thoughts before solving problems. This makes problem solving feel calm and controlled. I encourage students to talk through their reasoning out loud. Communication builds confidence. Errors are treated as signals, not failures. I guide students to spot patterns and relationships. We use diagrams and simple models often. Complex ideas are broken into small parts. Progress is steady and visible. I adapt explanations based on how students think. Analytical learners feel supported here. The goal is strong understanding, not speed. Students learn how to approach unfamiliar problems. Maths becomes useful, not abstract. Confidence grows naturally. Students learn to trust their thinking.
