About Wirlo Paolo
My name is Wirlo Paolo Espineda, a Mathematics teacher with 6 years of teaching
experience. I am currently teaching at Ajo Unified School District as a High School Math Teacher. Last year I was assigned in 5th & 6th Grade levels handling Mathematics and Science as a Certified teacher. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics at
University of Eastern Philippines in Northern Samar, Philippines last April 07, 2017. I
pursued Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics at University of Eastern
Philippines in Northern Samar, Philippines last April 21, 2021 with 39 academic
units. As a teacher, I design and implement contextualized lesson plans in
Mathematics for effective teaching. I develop lesson plans and instructional
materials and provides individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt
the curriculum to the needs of each student. Finally, I use a variety of effective
strategies, such as inquiry, group discussion, lecture, discovery, and collaboration to
make the learning process meaningful for my students.
I manage my class efficiently. I love to teach and I see myself as resourceful and
creative teacher . I love to do interactive power points and utilizing other digital
tools to make learning Mathematics engaging for my students. I believe in student-
centered classroom environment be it physically or virtually and I encourage interactive group and class
discussion in the teaching-learning process.
I am a team player . I try my best to contribute my skills and resources for the
benefit of my team and the institution in general.
