About Julie
I have been teaching physics, maths and science with excellent results for far too many years. I also mark exam papers in physics for both GCSE and A-level for three different exam boards and have done for over twenty years. I have four very successful children: one is a pilot, one is a primary school teacher, and the youngest does prosthetic make-up for films. My greatest achievement within teaching is the fact that I had a class of thirty-one pupils in one of the most deprived areas of Staffordshire and twenty-nine of the thirty achieved an A or an A*. The two that did not achieve the A had predicted grades of a D. Both of these pupils achieved a B grade, which is two grades above their expected grade. For the fifteen years I was at this school, I achieved the best grades in fourteen of the years for the GCSEs. I also tutored children for the 11+ exam for the Birmingham grammar schools
