About Eliza
I am an aspiring software developer/engineer currently studying A-levels. I enjoy creative writing and have had many short stories/poems published in books. I enjoy teaching and believe that every child has the potential to excel no matter their starting point. I believe that being a young tutor enables me to understand and engage with younger students more as I will be able to relate to them and teach them in a way where I can make learning fun. I want to teach because I enjoy helping students realise their potential and helping them be successful

Lesson plans will go as follows: Students will be taught a topic from which I will also do live examples, they will have a chance to ask any questions and shortly after will have topic questions to practise in a casual setting so assistance (if required) will be given. We will mark and go through questions to test their understanding and if any improvements are required I will help them in any way possible. Every few lessons they’ll be tested (with a practice paper) to identify any gaps and strengths going forward. Homework will be given to additionally support the child’s learning. For younger children, learning may be taught through fun games and activities to ensure they are fully engaged and are understanding what I am teaching. Every month I will send a report to parents highlighting the child's strengths and weaknesses and what parents can do to support the child at home to ensure success.
