About Artem

I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Physics at Paris Saclay (ranked #1 for physics in Europe), specialising in Quantum Condensed Matter. I hold a Bachelor’s in Theoretical Physics from a top-tier Ukrainian university and am a national winner of the school physics academic contest.

Over the past three years, I have successfully tutored middle and high school students internationally, alongside teaching at a private physics school. On average, my private students see a 30% improvement in their grades within the first two months of our lessons.

About the lesson

I am here to help students realise that physics is not an impossible hurdle, but a beautiful and logical subject. I avoid grading and judgement, preferring an engaging, friendly, and supportive environment that encourages students to be curious and creative.
My primary goal is to build a deep understanding of core physical concepts. By prioritising first-principle thinking over memorisation, I prepare students to tackle complex problems independently. We will typically learn by analysing real-world experiments, as well as using thought experiments and computer modelling to visualise and explain physical phenomena.
Once the foundation is built, we will work through targeted, interesting problems to build confidence at the required school level. For those who are interested and curious, we also have the option of escalating to academic competition levels.
For a more focused and efficient learning environment, I conduct my lessons online. In this way, students can come back to the unclear parts using our session recordings and digital notes anytime. Furthermore, my support does not only last during the lessons. I strongly encourage students to reach out to me personally with questions between our scheduled sessions.
During our first FREE trial lesson, we will discuss the student's specific goals, identify their current roadblocks, and begin tackling the subject together.

I would like to recommend Artem as a responsible, smart physics teacher and a good person. Last year, when I was struggling with electromagnetism courses in the PASS program at Paris-Saclay University, I was completely overwhelmed. However, being a reassuring and well-organised person, he helped me prepare for the final and pass it, for which I am very grateful!
