About Giavanni
I’m a passionate artist and art instructor. I went to Art School at University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where I learned valuable skills that I use and practice today. My journey has taken me from fun-filled wine and design classes to private advanced lessons, sharing my love for art with students of all levels.
Teaching is my true passion! There’s nothing more fulfilling for me than helping individuals discover their artistic spark and develop a love for art. While my foundation lies in traditional techniques, I embrace evolution and experimentation with various styles and mediums. Additionally, I am a lifelong learner, always taking classes because there’s always something new and exciting to explore.
Whether you're a beginner eager to explore the world of paint or an experienced artist seeking to enhance your skills, I'm here to guide you, inspire you, and share some laughter along the way.

Hey there! I’m a classically trained painter and pencil illustrator. I love helping students discover their artistic potential. Here’s what you can expect from my lessons:
- Multiple Mediums: I teach a wide range of artistic forms from painting to drawing and beyond.
- Technical Skills: Master proportion, color theory, depth, and dimension. These fundamental skills are the building blocks for all types of art.
- Express Yourself: There’s no “right” way to make art. It’s a beautifully messy process, and I’m here to encourage you every step of the way.
Teaching Philosophy:
- Comfort Zone: My goal is to make sure you feel comfortable and confident in expressing yourself, without any fear of judgment.
- Keep Going: Art isn’t always pretty at first. It can be downright ugly before it’s beautiful. But persistence is key, and I’m here to cheer you on.
- Personal Motivation: Everyone’s different, so I tailor my guidance to make sure you get the motivation you need to keep going.
