About Rosanna
Personal: I am a First Class Oxford University graduate with over 8 years of tutoring experience. I have degree-level knowledge in both the biological and social sciences, as well as in statistics and coding. In secondary school, I studied French, Maths, and Biology at A-level, in addition to completing an EPQ (5,000 word research project). Since I have experience in the Oxford admissions process, I offer tutoring on both the Thinking Skills Assessment and interview techniques, as well as general advice on university applications.
Tutoring style: I tutor by tailoring my methods to the particular needs of the student. Generally, this involves identifying where the student is struggling and focusing on these areas. I use interactive activities to promote the student's understanding and remembrance of particular subject topics.
Tutoring experience: With several years of tutoring experience across a broad range of ages, subjects, and contexts, I have supported students from primary level through to undergraduate study. My experience spans 11+ and 13+ preparation, GCSE and A-level Sciences, Biology, English, and social sciences, as well as university applications - including one student who secured her place to read Psychology at KCL. I have worked with students in the UK, travelled to India to provide intensive exam preparation (both students are now awaiting places at top British secondary schools), and taught online through a Hong Kong-based teaching school. My students have consistently achieved strong results, including first-class essay marks and a top coursework ranking within a university year group.
