About Rohan
I'm a friendly, patient, and reliable tutor who has been tutoring for over 5 years, with students successful at 11+ and 13+ for schools including Trinity, St. Paul's, and Sevenoaks. I'm currently an undergraduate reading Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) at Merton College, Oxford. In Sixth Form, I was Head Student at the prestigious St. Olave's Grammar School. I've achieved all "9"s in my GCSEs, and taught myself A-level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, taking them one and two years early respectively and receiving an A* in both, alongside A*s in Physics, Chemistry, and EPQ. In the Oxford Thinking Skills Assessment entrance test, I achieved a score of 97.5 out of roughly 100, with the guidance noting that "only a few very exceptional applicants will achieve scores higher than 80".

Every one of my students is unique, and so are their lessons. My 1:1 tuition sessions begin by working with my pupil to set goals for the hour, before moving onto closely targeted practice on the areas they need to work on most, designed to reinforce their knowledge and confidence. During my online sessions, I make use of a whiteboard to ensure concepts are clearly explained, and that the lesson remains engaging and enjoyable - my students' parents frequently tell me that they actively look forward to our sessions together.

Rohan is a fantastic tutor: he has the patience of a saint, explains concepts clearly and developed a strong rapport with my son. He thought carefully about what resources and support my son needed in advance of lessons but was also able to adapt at the last minute if necessary. I recommend him highly.
