About Shannon
I am a philosophy, politics, and economics (PPE) student at Oxford. I have experience tutoring students aged 5 to adult in Spanish, Chinese, creative and journalistic writing, and school and competition math. I'm passionate about making the admissions process as transparent and stress-free as possible. I offer sessions to middle and high school students who are hoping to reach their fullest potential. After having a conversation about goals, I focus my classes on students' personalized needs and gaps, as I find this is the most productive method.
For interview practice, I will draw upon my real interview experience as well as the experiences of others to provide an authentic mock interview. I'll give you constructive feedback on your strengths and opportunities for growth. For exam prep, I will work through common types of questions, using demonstrated examples to develop efficient exam-taking methods. In all my sessions, I will offer a tailored experience for your unique situation.
