About Edward
I’m a recent graduate of the University of Oxford, where I studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics. I benefited greatly from the one to one teaching style, and I was inspired to offer something similar through tutoring. I also found enormous satisfaction in past teaching work. I love the feeling of working together to understand something difficult, and move forwards. Outside academics, my hobbies include rugby, trail running and literature.

My tutoring approach is tailored to each student’s unique needs. I take the time to understand their strengths and challenges, working with them to create a clear, achievable plan for progress. I’m a patient and adaptable teacher, always looking for new ways to explain concepts. In my experience, when a student is struggling, it’s often the teaching that needs to change, not the student. My goal is to build confidence, deepen understanding, and make learning both effective and enjoyable.
