About Eliza
I'm someone who really enjoys learning, and building on the personal confidence that engaging fully with a subject gives me. Over time, I've developed a learning style that manages to balance the typical stresses of a busy academic workload with an active life outside the classroom - singing, drama, dance etc. I keep on top of my studies by consistently reviewing what I've learnt so that revision is straightforward and tailored to my needs. I really enjoy mentoring others, and I'm told I'm very approachable!

My tutoring approach is structured, supportive, and aligned with current exam specifications. Lessons are interactive and focused on clear explanations, worked examples, and regular questioning, helping students build both understanding and confidence. I place particular emphasis on exam technique and effective revision strategies.
Lessons typically last around 60 minutes, which allows time to cover key content, practice questions, and review progress at a comfortable pace.
As a Year 13 student, I have very recent experience of the curriculum and assessment style, which enables me to explain concepts in an accessible way and relate well to how students are currently taught in school. I tutor primary, lower-secondary, and GCSE-level and AS-level students, tailoring each lesson to the student’s level and individual needs.
