About Emma
I am a maths first year student at Oxford university.
I did the IB in Singapore (UWC) and got a 45/45 (with 7s in further maths and HL maths)
I've been tutoring IB HL and SL maths (old syllabus), and have now started working with the new syllabus.
I've taught 5 students so far, including 1 IGCSE maths and ad maths student so have done that syllabus as well.

I mainly ask what the biggest struggles of my students are (wordy questions, time management, using a calculator properly, memorising theory, having a good method to answer similar questions etc.) and then shape my classes around that. I tend to make a lot of practice worksheets and tests with a wide variety of questions to encompass every possible type of question that we can go through and discuss. I also help with methodology and rigour.
