About William
I'm Will, a first year undergraduate at the University of Oxford. I am incredibly passionate about the law and politics and how the two areas intersect with one another and impact upon the geopolitical challenges that the world currently faces.
I am a dedicated tutor and will always strive to ensure that my students succeed in reaching their own goals. I hope to inspire confidence in my students by creating a space where they feel comfortable to ask questions and where their own passion for the subject grows and flourishes. I achieved 4 A*s at A-Level and now study Law with Spanish Law at the University of Oxford, where rigorous academic study has strengthened both my subject expertise and my ability to explain complex ideas in a clear, engaging way.
Outside of my own studies, I am a keen runner and also love to travel. I spent time in South America on my gap year and I love to immerse myself in new cultures and languages.

If you’re aiming for top grades in A-Level Politics or Law, I can help you get there with clarity, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the subjects.
My tutoring style is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs — whether that’s mastering exam technique, building strong essay arguments, or developing a richer conceptual grasp of political and legal systems.
My approach to teaching is patient, encouraging, and grounded in real experience of what it takes to stay motivated, stay organised, and ultimately succeed in A level exams.
My lessons typically range from 45 minutes to an hour during which I will assess the student's areas of concern and set the goals for the lesson. I will then break down and explain the key areas using relevant examples, before applying knowledge to exam-style problems. I always allow the student to talk through their own understanding and encourage them to provide their own insights and ideas so that I may assess their grasp of the topic.
