About Eloise
I love the classics. They capture our imagination on the screen and in books. Whether you found your way to them through modern novels like Circe or the Song of Achilles or are excited about the upcoming film the Odyssey these stories are constantly being told and retold to new audiences. They are references in politics and called upon across culture to help us navigate the world much like Odysseus navigated his way home (though I hope we can navigate these waters in slightly less time than him!). I love these topics and I hope to share some of that excitement with you

I achieved an A in A level Classical Civilisation and took classics classes as a part of my undergraduate degree in History. I hope that we can enjoy the classics together and open up a door to the ancient past.
I can tutor World of the Hero The Odyssey and The Aeneid, Greek Theatre texts including Oedipus the King, the Bacchae, and the Frogs. We can also delve into the world of Greek and Roman Love and Relationships reading everything from Sappho to Plato to Seneca.
