About Izzy
I am a recent graduate in French and Italian from the University of Oxford, currently working as a Teaching Assistant. I love languages and literature and I am passionate about finding ways to make learning fun and easy, and helping other people develop their own passion for languages. My lessons are tailored to the individual needs of the student, and I relate content to the real world whilst thoroughly preparing students for exams and incorporating effective testing. I have real classroom experience from my role as a teaching assistant, which I incorporate into my lessons. Lessons are typically one hour, and I can cater to students of all abilities - GCSE and A Level, younger students, and those looking to learn a language. In my French and Italian lessons, I focus on giving the student a strong basis in grammar, working on weak spots before moving on to more complicated topics. We will also work on speaking, writing, translation, and listening skills. I am passionate about languages and want students to find them fun, whilst also getting the best possible results. In English and Latin lessons, I focus on vocabulary, grammar, and literary analysis skills.
