About Zoe
Oxbridge Graduate – 2022 – English Literature and Language
In 2019 I achieved A*A*A*A in Biology, English Literature, Fine Art and Chemistry respectively.
I have tutoring experience in the past of A level English Literature and am able to teach both to a GCSE and A level standard. Previously, I have tutored potential Oxbridge candidates in their application to the two universities respectively, with a high success rate.
I know the AQA A level Biology course incredibly well, achieving the highest mark in my year at school for the course. I am therefore able to also tutor for Biology at this level.

Oxbridge Application –
I support with preparation for the personal statement, admission test and interview. As an Oxbridge graduate with experience tutoring for Oxbridge application over the past year, I can help to tailor your application to the highest standard with knowledge of what humanities tutors are seeking in a candidate.
English A level –
I approach each curriculum text independently with students, tackling themes, and hidden motifs that are not just written in typical revision guides. My sources are taken from critical articles and books that students may not have access to in the school environment, which can stimulate them to think independently and collect ideas that will distinguish them from other candidates. From this, high-level essay plans are developed, which contain a balance of all the required exam objectives the student needs to show skill of. I can improve writing style, which will allow students to argue sophistically, and will set their essays above others.
Biology -
I focus on initially breaking down topics through methods of learning and explaining - building diagrams and creating audio or visual triggers. These are key to helping a student truly understand a topic. Then, I focus on repetition of a topic. This is imperative in order to achieve top marks in the Biology A level exams to solidify knowledge of each topic.
