About Jacob
I am a supportive and dedicated person, and enjoy being able to encourage and support others to achieve their full potential in their subjects. I have previously tutored in GCSE Maths and Chemistry at my school, and offer not only GCSE tutoring but also targeted 11+tutoring over the summer in Maths and English. I have strong subject knowledge, having achieved 12 GCSE Grade 9s and am predicted 4 A*s at A-Level, including in Maths and Chemistry. I have an offer to study Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge.

I will first ask my students which topics they would like to focus on before a lesson to prepare it in advance. At the start of that lesson (usually 1 hour in length), I will then cover the content surrounding that topic to ensure they have a good knowledge of the topic before moving onto exam questions which relate to that information.
If all goes well I will then give them new questions with a more challenging context or focus and go through these with them. This will help my students at the 11+ to GCSE level become more confident and fluent with the subject.
