About Onur
I am a professional operatic bass and a Resident Artist with the Atelier lyrique of Opéra de Montréal. I hold a Diploma in Operatic Performance from the University of Toronto and have performed in professional operatic productions, concerts, and competitions across Canada. My experience as an active performer allows me to teach practical, healthy vocal technique while helping singers develop confidence, musicality, expression, and their own individual sound. I enjoy working with singers of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced classical singers preparing for auditions and performances.

My lessons are tailored to each singer’s goals, level, and individual voice. As a Resident Artist with Opéra de Montréal’s Atelier lyrique and a graduate of the University of Toronto Opera program, I bring professional stage and audition experience into every lesson. We can work on vocal technique, breath coordination, resonance, range, confidence, musicality, and repertoire. I teach both classical and general singing, from beginners to advanced singers, and I also offer focused coaching for auditions, conservatory applications, and operatic repertoire.
